FRANCE: Original French Military Readiness 
Badge, Bronze Class, bearing the motto 
“Honneur et Patrie” (For Honor and Country). 
Maker marked Drago, Paris. 
The badge, together with the Certificate of 
Military Readiness, were awarded to reservists 
who had recalled briefly to active duty and had 
completed the respective training courses of 
the French Armed Forces.
A fine example from the 1950s Colonial Wars 
period.
