Navy Medal, third version, crafted in silver and 
awarded during WW2.
Attributed to H. JEGOU and dated 1944.
This type represents the later design of the 
prestigious award instituted in 1901 to honor 25 
years of dedicated maritime service.
This piece is signed by Em. Lindauer, hallmarked 
"1" for silver purity, and maker marked by the 
Paris Mint on the rim. 
A collectible and elegant representation of 
French maritime history.
