Issued in 1910 to mark the 50th anniversary of 
the formation of the Regiment, in 1860. 
Features portraits of Crown Prince Friedrich 
Wilhelm, Adolf of Schaumburg-Lippe and Princess 
Victoria, all former chiefs of the regiment. 
Reverse bears the Prussian Crown. 
Designed by F. Hoffstatteer, Bonn. 
The Regiment took part in the 2nd Schleswig 
Holstein War (1864), the German Civil (1866) and 
the Franco-Prussian War of 1870. 
During the Great War it participated in the battles 
of Namur, St. Quentin, Arras, Verdun, Aisne, 
Champagne, Somme, Marne and Chemin des 
Dames.
